well seeing as I was 2nd (technically 3rd in line but the other wasn't there for the Pikachu 3DS) I wouldn't really call it a line xD. There was one though for many others. and yeah honestly I was planning on waiting on this perticular 3DS to come out before I got one, but was offered one as a gift so I took it. Decided I'd just wait and buy it when it actually came out. Was waiting on it to reach here ever since the Japanese release hit.

I actually kinda wanted the LoZ edition one at first, but deicded it was either that or the Pikachu one (whenever it came out). I just took my chances before I even knew there would be one. Seeing as they've made one for each handheld so far

Well good shit bro. I'm glad I've gotten all I've wanted online. Like the VLR watch only came through amazon preorders and another sale they had for them later on. Now they are going for 100 dollars each on ebay I think (At least the Red, Blue ones at least which is the two I have). But yeah I had bought my 3DS earlier because I couldn't wait to play Virtue's Last Reward.

They wouldn't take reservations on these. I think from what I rmemeber they did on the LoZ and Fire Emblem one?

I felt the same way....I'd have missed out on 2 good 3DS games thus far and some cool features if I hadn't had mine early on

Nah they made more of those. I got mine from gamestop. I dont know about the fire emblem one I think that was was the same as the pikachu one. Dude, you should play 999. Amazing game. Top favorite series for me.

I know the Fire Emblem one was reservable but don't see it in Gamestop anymore. They had shipping issues so weren't able to sell it release day is all I remember. If that was unreservable I'd expect to have seen so many complaints as to those who would not know when it would come out. If that happened with the Pikachu one....yeah I woulda ben mad seeing as it wasn't reservable.

Yeah when I saw it, it was in a Best Buy ad, I'm pretty surer you couldn't be reserved. And I'm on neogaf and it seems to be the case everywhere. You're a lucky man, many people missed their chances because there is such a limited supply.

And yeah you should check it out. It's an amazing puzzle game/visual novel. If you like Phoenix Wright/Hotel Dusk you should like 999 as well. The sequel is on the 3DS and I loved it.

Yeah I finished everyone of them up to Apollo Justice. I haven't had too much time for DS games unfortunately. I still haven't finished SMT: Strange Journey, and Soul Hackers comes out next month.

The avenger is out on cable already. Hasn't even been a year

never played Apollo or past that. Just up the trilogy. Will play Layton x Phoenix Wright when it arrives and Ace Attorney 4...or 5 w/e it's gonna be called. The new Phoenix game. If it comes here

Its 5. And you didn't miss much Apollo was one of the weakest in the series imo.

I didn't really like it's "Cornered" theme either. I only played them on the Wii VC not on ds. So it'll be interesting seeing it on 3DS
