I'm pleasantly surprised by Halo 4, I only hope that it doesn't move too far away from the style of halo

Re: vbhvcfdg
Have you read the Forerunner books yet?
I made it to chapter 14 of Cryptum so far, pretty interesting how advanced Forerunner & Precursor technology is described as being. There's some really imaginative stuff in that book.

I've really stopped reading video game books, especially considering how much of game of thrones I have yet to read
but back to shooters, I'm actually a bit interested in spec ops: the line

The way you interact with the environment in that game is really interesting.
There's too many other games coming for me to pick it up though. If it's a short game I might just rent it.
That reminds me there was this one shooter I played a demo of back on the original Xbox & I loved the demo so much that I wanted to buy it. The game was like playing an action movie it was so intense, but instead of buying it I had to rent it cause I didn't have enough money.
I was so dissapointed, the game itself wasn't much longer then the actual demo. If I actually did buy it that would have been like paying $50 for a movie, or essentially buying a CoD game without even the multiplayer.

I can't remember the name for sure, but it had the word Red in it. It was like a Modern Warfare game before the Modern Warfare games existed, including the short campaign & the Michal Bay Action splosions everywhere.40kfreak wrote:What game was it?

I'm on a dance with dragons (the latest one)
what do you mean "is warhammer a shooter?" that's like asking "is star wars a comic book?" yeah some of it is but you're focusing on the wrong thing
and no I don't have a ps3, i considered it but decided I'll stick with my 360 until the next generation

Damn I had faith in you the last time I saw you post about that in MCF, I see my faith was grossly misplaced.40kfreak wrote:and no I don't have a ps3, i considered it but decided I'll stick with my 360 until the next generation

I would've gotten it but the talk of the town is new consoles soon, it would bee like buying a ps2 in 2006...

Re: vbhvcfdg
The new consoles are a few years off, and good luck getting them at launch.
It's more like buying a PS2 in 2004, and it shouldn't matter when you buy it if you've never played the games before. Mario Bros 3 didn't stop being great when the SNES launched, Halo didn't stop being great when the Xbox 360 launched.
Maybe the next gen will have Backwards Compatibility? I doubt it.

Re: vbhvcfdg
As the days passed, I came to realize that despite my urges, I
could not hurt this Manipular—this young Forerunner. Despite his
irritating manner and obvious feeling of superiority, there was
something about him that I liked. Like me, he sought treasure and
adventure, and he was willing to do wrong things.
Meeting him, I began my long fall to where I am now—what I
am now.
Goddamn, this book is pretty epic.
