I really liked the righteous anger the straw hats showed when frankys group beat up usopp. Loyalty son.

there is a much earlier episode when buggy and his crew are on the sea and ace happens to be on his ship sleeping and eating. Buggy was gonna attack him but noticed he was part of the whitebeard pirates. The moral of the episode and also the episode title was "never touch the whitebeard pirates".

If you follow one piece more you will see that loyalty by pirates mostly captains for their subordinates are a norm.

of course there the "their too weak screw them " kind of bad guys
