I heard someone talk about this phenomenon on the JRE, I think it was that guy who co-wrote the Chappelle's show who said that.

I heard there were problems between Dave & the other creator that eventually led to the shows end. The latter claiming he created most of the jokes/skits

On the podcast he said he created half, and half was Dave. He said he gets mad when people say it was only one or the other.

He says that the problems between him & Dave were facilitated by Viacom so Viacom would only have to pay one of them.

I can believe it was around 50/50, seems like Dave sorta lost it but I don't think Neal is really too stable either. From the way they are it seems like it really would be easy to turn them against each other.

One thing that irks me though is whenever I see Dave talk about what happened in interviews he hardly ever talks about Neal, yet Neal acts like it's all about him VS Dave. Neal seems sort of self centered, even though he only takes credit for writing half the show and admits to Dave being a brilliant comedian & writer.

Neal as in the Neal that was added into skits like R kelly pissing on a chick showing ID while his grandma looks on?

Im surprised what I heard was right. I s'pose OGlazyboy knew what he was talking about. I never knew much of Neal, & nothing from Dave apart from him being an asshole now that hes put on muscle. I always used to figure he was cool like in the show.
