Thinking of the Real Time break made me remember how awesome Bill. Even when you disagree with him you gotta respect his conviction. Hes the type of dude that will lose his show instead of compromise himself.

Doll and em premiered on hbo. Kinda odd given its a wednesday. Probably because the time slots are being filled with vice on friday and john olivers shows on sunday. Not to mention GOT in less than 3 weeks. The cast is already hitting the talk shows for that

Great real time as always, easily my favorite comedy talk show of all time

and next week looks like itll be even better by the guests. First we got neera tanden, then kumau bell(you may remember him from when I used to talk about his show here "totally biased" ugh it was a great new hit with potential i hate that it was canceled, shame on fxx and their horrible channel change) and jimmy carter! Bill actually got a former president thats some reach!

Last weeks episode of vice pissed me off. Slavery and climate disasters. Were past the worst case scenarios 20 years ago according to scientists. Even if we do something now its not gonna stop getting worse and the idea of even doing that is nigh impossible

There's still so many climate change deniers too. People are going to have to rebel before it's too late.

Someone needs to be up front and say it forcefully "do you care about your kids?" "Do you wanna pay more for food?" "More for rent/living?" "Have clean water to drink from?" Then fucking pay attention.

I dont know if there is already but there should be a site hosting all of the worlds problems which can be voted upon by the users in order of importance, have detailed information on each one(videos/commentary by qualified people) whether education, deaths by guns/diseases etc and allow it all to be trackable and allow it to be compared by country. What actions, laws are being passed by each country, votes directly tied in a seamless way.

Make it like fb if you have to but instead of primarily customization for the user it would be by country outlining the problems in the world and how far everyone is progressing, putting money into solving it, effective tactics to replicate. And most importantly make goals for everyday people to do not just voting reminders but supporting local endeavors as well. Hell they can make it like a video game "X many ppl do X in this city/state/country X many times and that location is awarded X much progress.

Sometimes even with knowledge people dont know what to do with that knowledge. Goals and guidance would go a long way, with information provided of course

Money is all that matters. If we don't have the money to make the lawmakers do the right thing then they'll just continue to allow this madness.

There's basically two options. Become super rich somehow and buy out the politicians in favor of the people, or initiate a violent revolution against our corporate rulers.

Saw the new episode of vice. The fist half dealt with the business of scrappers. Ppl in places with no opportunities making a living by taking apart old buildings. The scrap metal is then sold off to china so they can build their own houses, skyscrapers in their own country. When they were rolling with scrappers the scenes remindd me of the last of us. Everything from the demolished abandoned buildings to the scavenging and beat up old backpacks

the second half dealt with the effects of drone strikes andtheir effect on pakistani youth. They talked to various people and the underlying response was "they kill us, we kill them." I cant think of many people that wouldnt say the same should they be in their position either. They also talked to taliban leaders and got entrance into an indoctrination camp. The amount of access these guys have is amazing.

Damn I gotta start pirating that (sorry HBO).

just watched ep 3 8f cosmos. its such a great show but god I hate commercials so much.ifind it funny how they are advertising fox news shows such as hannity, oreilly, kelly during cosmos. Theyre trying to pull from the wrong audience there lol
