You should start on Detective Conan though. When the actual story arc come in to play it becomes then most tense and possibly the best series out there imo.

I mean I still dont get why its so popular. Ive watched it from beginning to alabasta and from where toonami started airing it last year to now enis lobby- which gets a lot of hype.

its eneis lobby arc as an entirety and on thats crazy. thriller bark is a little slow for some ppl which follows ensis lobby then after that u get 3 straight arcs of pure gold. then u got the new world which is now.

yeah Thriller bark was alright, it wasn't anything too special. A few major points happen so it's not like you can skip it.
I'm almost completely caught up now myself and....well I'll leave it there for now. I can't stop watching though. Gotta keep going
