NF Future Youtube Channel

As many of us have already heard and discussed about. So for now here is the list of objectives.

• We need a YT channel name we can all agree on?

• What will we discuss OTHER than just pokemon for our PokeCast?

• We have discussed some of this already, but more than just a PokeCast. Ideas such as: Game/Movie Reviews, Gameplays or Let's Plays, and maybe member only stream night access notification and well as if we get more attention polls to see what others may want

Maybe even more to add this


So for those who know or are interested what do you think? Want need to be added or what doesn't sound interesting? For now until I get a better computer and some recording and edition equipment we will have to run off with what and who we got for recordings and editing.


Seeing as these videos will be on Youtube we will have to be careful to follow the rules and keep away from doing anything copyright.

Anything to suggest or you don't like mention it here. For those interested post here about it

This was my idea in the past with some things the channel covers. myself d and lone figured this was the best course of action for podcast project. this is a name i chose.

I record and can edit but we need more people even if its one other active person who will do it. Its easy shit. especially because we aimed to filter out a lot and keep it short.

NFFamilies haha id go with the name NFHQ honestly that would do, our ultimate goal is traffic here anyway.

As for the videos in the channel...one could be a pokecast yeah exclusively for pkmn content, and we can have the main NF one eventually. I think the idea for more niche topic casts could work in our channel the way the nerdist network has multiple shows from different comedians but wed need moderation since theres so few of us

Im digging the ideas of lets plays and vid reviews/tutorials though. Ive been catching an LP of always sometimes monsters and its really enjoyable with a likeable commentor. It would be fun doing those with friends.

I've got plans already of things I'd do Let's Plays on

HQ all day. It should be good getting the channel up

what is the preferred program for editing videos

Back in 2007 was a different time idk whats the best nowadays but Sony Vegas was all the rave back in the day. Though I did just fine with windows movie maker nothing fancy but you can add effects.

What do you need a premium editor for though? Podcasts dont really need it, or LPs. At most I see an avatar of the commentator at the top.

maybe along with streams we could also have game nights where (this is assuming anyone will start to watch when we start) viewers can join us for online games like Cards Against Humanity, Town of Salem, etc

Well I'll need to find a job soon to get more money to buy a new laptop. Buy editing and recording software too.

you dont really need to buy editing and recording software, you can just pirate that. Thats how i got sony vegas. Theres even free alternatives. Its like buying photoshop for 500 dollars nobody does that.

in the future I have plans to meet up with a Youtuber (when they come to Atlanta) and ask him a few questions about how to start up or be successful on youtube. It'll at least help me learn some setups and a few tips of equipment and software and editing tips to use. I believe there is an event coming up soon so hopefully he shows up near me so I can make it there.
