i can run skyrim at max specs with no lag but i cant watch vids ...

Well no I mean your connection not being fast enough to handle streaming 1080p video. Unless the whole computer itself is chugging it's probably not your computer.

I sometimes have problems with Chrome, something about a Flash pluggin that makes the whole thing stutter

well i used to be to watch 1080p on youtube. maybe cuz 1080p is now bundled with 60 fps in options?

Nonsense... My laptop is not nearly as powerful as your PC and runs 1080p 60 fps just fine. Something else, probably a background service or app chewing up your resources. Or probably Youtube's not optimized enough to make use of all cores, some apps run slow even on big rigs because they only use 1 core or a limited amount of ram instead of all of them.
