I do have the Planet Earth Bluray though, it looks amazing in 1080p.

Yeah I think animal planet used to air shows like it. Looking at it now they're running a marathon of fatal attractions. Summary says white tiger kills an entertainer. Meh.

Tomorrow young justice deals with lex luthors move. Hope it showcases the new heroes that joined him. I've enjoyed the episodes that involved them

Lost track of how many times I've watched the original avatar series. Watching it again after reading the promise. Definitely a show I want to own at some point

Yesterday a guest on the daily show was promoting his documentary on Cheney. March 15th know Showtime. Looking forward to it

It seems like Young Justice was starting to get as good with it's backlog of lore in it's own universe, but now they're getting rid of it so... =/

Yeah it's way better than the first season was. I wonder why it was cancelled. I enjoy young justice now and I would enjoy it as a kid. Are ratings bad? I can't imagine a show like this not having them.

Well it's majority rules, and I'm sure more people watch shit like annoying orange and fred than excellent shows like Young Justice. Look at the Discovery, History, and G4 channels for example. I bet more people are watching the shitty shows on those channels than the good ones that used to air. MTV and Disney Channel are also good examples of this.

The more viewers a show gets the more ad revenue the company running the television station receives. Thus why so many networks choose to sell out and profit instead of retaining great shows and their own unique identity. This will continue to happen to every channel until there is literally nothing good on TV, every network that doesn't show the stupid shit people like will become bankrupt or move on to publishing good programming online.

TV and the way it's run is slowly becoming too old, archaic, and completely obsolete in a modern society with modern technology. Eventually it will die out and people will simply use services like Netflix, Hulu, and more online services which have even started to publish their own quality programming.

If young justice was cancelled by bad ratings then that makes me sad. That means justice league, batman, samurai jack maybe not even dbz (non kiddie version) wouldn't survive nowadays. What generation of execs is responsible for this? The children of the 70s are killing tv? Maybe even from the early 80s? 80s was probably the gayest generation

Yeah 70s and 80s both seem pretty gay, though there was starting to be some good quality shows in the 80s so I don't think it was them. I would think they would want to honor the good (albeit outdated now) animations of their time that helped inspire many of the shows we currently enjoy. Of course that's assuming the people in the TV business are in it for making TV better in the first place, which I'm not too sure they are anymore.

Either way though this is caused in a lot of ways by old out of touch people who don't know or care what they're doing, as long as they get mad cash their "conscience" is clear baby. Most businesses are just like American politics. Like if you consider corporations people they draw a lot of similaritys to most politicians, they're both in it for the cash money. I can see from a politician's point of view why they'd want corporations to have the same rights as people.

Yeah you put people like that in charge of programming, coupled with kids who will watch garbage and top it all off with parents who don't care...you've got a recipe for trash.

I don't get CW here, well I kind of get it in some rooms some times. It's always a bit staticy though So I usually don't bother trying to watch it.

arrow is pretty good so far. i like how they flashback at least once every episode just to kind of show you what happened on the island when he was there for the five years. the cast is pretty good too but theres some where there acting could be better. but the story so far is really interesting and they always have some way to put you on the edge of your seat. then again its the first season so its probably going to do that.

One more episode til young justice ends. Such a waste of a good show
