Naruto Manga Thread V1: [The UnMasked Man Edition]

Naruto is a Manga published in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
Created by Masashi Kishimoto, the tale of Naruto revolves around the titular character, Uzumaki Naruto, a wannabe top-rank Ninja (Shinobi).
Naruto spent his youth an orphan, shunned by the people of his village, Konohakagure, for reasons he doesn't understand. Consequently, Naruto wishes and strives to become a top-class Shinobi, and eventually become the Hokage, the leader of the village and the most powerful Shinobi therein.
Naruto is a tale of the characters and battles that shape the world in which it is placed, a tale in which good battles evil, and the story of a boy who wishes to be the very best.





Naruto takes place on a fictional, and as yet unnamed, world, which, even though it contains a unique geography, is not entirely unlike our own. There are some staples of modern society, such as movie theaters, convenience stores, locomotives, and limit on computing to things along the lines of walkie-talkies. However, there are no firearms whatsoever in the world of Naruto.

The world of Naruto is divided up into several countries, with almost the entire manga taking place in only a handful of the countries.
Amongst these countries are five which have grown to become very powerful, each of these countries are ruled by a feudal lord (Daimyo) and contain a Hidden Village, each of which acts as the home and training center for the Shinobi of that country. The Villages are ruled by the Kage, who are recognized as the greatest and most powerful Shinobi of that particular Hidden Village.
The Five are:
The Land of Fire, home to Konohagakure, known as the "Village hidden in the Leaves"
The Land of Wind, home to Sunagakure, known as the "Village hidden in the Sand"
The Land of Lightning, home to Kumogakure, known as the "Village hidden in the Clouds"
The Land of Water, home to Kirigakure, known as the "Village hidden in the Mist"
The Land of Earth, home to Iwagakure, known as the "Village hidden in the Rocks"


Further, there are 9 Tailed Beasts (Bijuu), massive creatures made of pure chakra, that roam the world, occasionally causing extreme destruction and calamities.



Ninja in the Naruto world have the ability to manipulate their chakra (life energy, a combination of physical and mental or spiritual energies) to use jutsu (techniques or skills).

Jutsu are divided up into three catagories:
Genjutsu, which is the art of illusions,
Taijutsu, which is, more or less, martial arts, fueled, improved, or enhanced by chakra,
Ninjutsu, known as Ninja Arts, Ninutsu appear to be almost magical elemental techniques ranging from Fire manipulation, creating temporary clones of oneself, and even healing techniques.



There are five elemental types that each Shinobi can have an affinity for: fire, water, earth, electricity (called lightning, for some reason), and wind.
A Shinobi can only use techniques based on their particular elemental affinities. Over time, shinobi can develop affinities in more than one elemental type, broadening the range of techniques used by that shinobi.


Further, there are Kekkei Genkai, otherwise known as Bloodline Limits, which are passed down genetically in clans. Kekkei Genkai generally allow the Shinobi to combine two or more elements to create entirely new hybrid elemental technique.
Not all Kekkei Genkai are elemental related, such as the Doujutsu (eye techniques) Kekkei Genkai, the Byakugan, Sharingan, and Rinnegan, which grant the user various benefits unique to that particular clan or user.
There are even other Kekkei Genkai that allow bizarre things like control over bone deformation and growth.




There are also Summoning techniques used by some Shinobi wherein the user can call upon an animal summon that they have a "contract" with.

i thought he was just saying that cuz he was arrogant. hachibi said number of tails doesnt matter.

Well he's about to blow away 4 bijuus in one shot and he kicked all kinds of ass that chapter so...

I thought the fighting throughout that chapter was badass.

Why does his bijuu transformation looks like that.... maybe because the 4th sealed half of the kyubi in him or because is his 1st transformation...?

It's cause it's his first, it's not like a totally complete transformation. He still has stuff to learn.

Right, and being in sage mode at the same time makes it even better. Maybe not the full transformation, but more of Kurama's powers are being revealed right now is about it

Well he's not fully unleashed and remember that half of the Kyuubi's chakra is technically sealed inside the death god. Assuming his chakra didn't regenerate through time. Still, being able to match the other bijuu in a non full power mode is still quite the impressive feat.
