so I just saw Tokyo Ghoul and here is my opinion:
the art style is good, I like the way it is animated, the dark characters was something I was missing

I'll give this anime 8 shurikens out of 10, so far with a lot of room for improving that grade

- I really liked the struggle the protagonist had trying to accept he was no longer human, main reason I enjoyed that part a lot is because I have had the same feeling but trying to accept that I am actually human, looking at the palm of my hand and abhorring the cruelty and destruction that we as species cause to our mother planet who provides for us yet we poison it and destroy it, not only that but the shock of Riza which looked so cute and vulnerable being a ghoul that fed only to please her own desires, that was both good and bad
the good, I like to see characters have a dual personality because we humans are like that, we hate and love, we like and dislike, we live and die, we can be happy or sad, so duality is present every day of our lives, even tho we don't notice it, we are never of a single state of mind and heart, we can't love everything or hate everything, we can be good to some people but we can be evil to others, even if we don't intend to, that is what makes us what we are
the bad is the twist from her being the ghoul we see at the beginning could be seen right from the moment she walks to the bookstore if you see beyond what is put on the screen or how is put on the screen, if you don't the anime makes it easier for you when she trembles and then says she lives near the place the attacks have been taking place, her trembling feels like she can barely help herself from eating, then getting from a darker and isolated place to an even darker and more isolated place drives the idea home kinda like rubbing it on your face just in case you hadn't noticed she is trying to eat the guy
the best parts of the episode for me are divided in 4 parts
first part is, the girl at the bookstore seems to have some interest for the protagonist, hard enough to save him from Riza, who apparently had a rank among other ghouls
second part is, the doctor implants ghoul organs into a human and gives him human food because he was expecting an actual reaction
third part is, the girl at the end helps the protagonist acknowledge more his new form and doesn't kill him, quite the opposite, she helps him eat, which is the main reason why he's struggling so much to abandon humanity
and 4th and more important is the moral standards that determine humans can feed on other life forms but humans have been determined by ourselves, the human race, but as seen in isolated places in which cannibalism is common, not just that but important part of tribal ideology, human nature is to feed in what is available not just cattle, and this series happens to explore the darkest part of human morality, when you realize that humans compete against each other for a job, in sports, even in entertainment you can be able to see we have been domesticated to obey the will of someone who in nature could have been our prey, not our boss
hopefully the next episode will be as good as this, if not better
I never liked Gore anime, except for Hellsing, but this one can become the second heavy gore anime that I actually enjoy watching, only time will tell
I'll give this anime 8 shurikens out of 10, so far with a lot of room for improving that grade

SAO II was OK
the animation still looks good, but I didn't like much what I saw in the ending, maybe the plot will be a lot different than what I imagine it will be but so far it isn't looking too good, more on the boring side of things, oh yeah and a lot of eating
the first episode

specially because you can tell this people has a deeper budget than others so they can do a better job

Just watched akame ga kill
that was a pretty good first episode, this anime has a lot of potential if handed well, I had my doubts in regards to
all in all I did enjoy it, I hope it gets better and hopefully darker and deeper, we'll see
I give this anime 9 shurikens out of 10 because of the fun factor, plot and such could get better or worse, but I would have done the same the protagonist did at the end of the episode if put in the same situation, so yeah

- how was going the night raid convince a goody goody like the protagonist to join a group of assassins, it was super sad to see sayo dead and the other guy also die at the end, but all in all it was a good introduction to a new nice anime that is not afraid of using mild gore in action scenes, in depth we could think that modern humanity is just as twisted if not worse, and the statement that humans are worst than dragons when it comes to be like a beast, I couldn't agree more, the only good for this planet from humanity is gonna happen when the human race is extinct
so yeah, this anime is good and tries to be funny, sometimes too hard, but I like it that it doesn't take itself to seriously, even the protagonist says "what is with this turn of events!?"
because that is basically what we are left thinking at the end of the episode
